The Variation and Use of Nail Drills
Nails do not look great just as they come. Women mostly have to rely on nail technicians to get those fabulous nails.
Of course, the nail art will help every nail look excellent and catchy. However, no art can be applied onto nails, which were not properly cared for prior to decoration. There is actually a lot of work for preparation of one single nail for the actual nail art. Nail drills certainly play important role in this preparation.
The filing is probably the finest and final touch in nail care. Using either simple files or drills, you can file them yourself. But, various nails require various files and drills. They are easier to handle by the stylist and certainly present less chance of getting an infection.
This electric filer is no different in final result than any others. However, it is quicker. Drills can be used for more than one purpose, which made them very popular in art nail business. You will see the stylist shortening, cleaning, buffing and filing your nails.
This multi-purpose option is exactly why many nail artists will decide on drills rather than ordinary filers. When you consider there are areas, hard to reach with a filer (cuticles, sidewalls of your nails), it only becomes natural a drill will be used.
Stylists will use soft drills gentle nail surfacing. What you will see nail stylist use is the carbide bit. It is probably the best in nail industry, very fine in quality and always tender to the nail. The friction is very mild, preventing damages and further infections. Shortening nails will require larger variant, called barrel golden carbide. Apart from shortening, they are also extremely useful for shaping curves and polishing nail surface.
Most nail artists will have their own collection of various nail drills, for various nail jobs. This is what will ensure them the best possible results in their work. All they need to do when switching from client to client is properly sanitize them.
After using the nail drill, don’t forget to add your OPI nail polish to enhance your nail art designs.
