The Lowdown on Aqua Massage Beds
An aqua massage bed uses pressurized water to create a user-controlled massage environment. In an aqua massage bed, a canopy, usually nylon, is filled with water. The recipient of the massage then can use a remote control to decide how much pressure he would like the water to apply and where he or she would like the pressure applied. The water inside the canopy can be either hot or cold to accentuate the massage experience. Once the recipient chooses the type of massage he wants, water jets and pressure from the canopy itself massage different areas of the body and activate different pressure points. The canopy allows someone to have the massage regardless of the clothes that they are wearing and many of these are found in physical therapy offices because of their ability to help patients recover from joint and muscle injuries.
