Save Money on Contact Lenses
Wearing contact lenses is great. You don’t have glasses in the way, blocking your view, getting dirty or fogging up. One downside, though, is the cost. Not only do you need new lens prescriptions, there are doctor’s exams, cleaning products plus all the things you need when you don’t have your contacts in – like your glasses.
So wearing contacts can cost more than people realize. But there are some ways to save money on your contact lenses and other products that you buy to take care of your eyes.
For one, look for sales and special offers. They’re out there. Going to a department store eye doctor isn’t a bad thing. That doctor is licensed and you can often save money going there versus another doctor that has more overhead and costs to deal with. A place like Sears Optical will already have ways to cover costs since they employ lots of other employees as well. So watch for special offers that they have every few months. See if you can get on a mailing list to receive these offers by mail or email.
Other ways to save money on contact lenses involve paying a different way so that you get a discount and there’s also a way to even get some contact lenses for free. Stop by the Free Contact Lenses Guide to find out how.
