If you are anything like me then you really love dogs. I love to run in the park with my dog and play games with him. He is not only a pet, but also a good friend. But when we are home again I like to relax on my couch and so does my dog. Because I have a rather large dog I don’t want him to sit on the couch because he might tear or wreck it. That is why I decided to buy a dog bed for him so he could sleep on his own couch instead.
When you go to the store and look for dog beds than there are a lot of options. I have a large dog and a small house so I wanted to see what was best for my dog, but also for my house. It is not easy to find extra large dog baskets that fit properly in my house and that is why I decided to look for corner dog beds. This is a type of dog bed that you can place in the corner and in this way save a lot of space with it. Because I have a large dog this was a very good option.
But sizes and types are not the only thing to consider when you are looking for a proper dog bed. You also want a comfortable bed for you pet and you also want to consider hygiene. New types of dog beds are made from a special material that are very easy to clean and is made of a fabric that flees don’t like. Choosing the right color is not a real problem because most dog beds are available in many different colors. Although your dog will probably not care what color his bed is, you don’t want to have an ugly dog bed in your house.
A last option to consider is the durability of the dog bed. My dog has large teeth and sometimes he likes to use them on furniture or toys. if you don’t want to let him wreck his own dog bed than you could better buy a durable dog bed. These dog beds are made of materials that do not break or tear easily. In this way you don’t have to buy a new bed for your dog every two weeks.
