Are You Visiting Aspe? Know What To Expect!

Aspe, a municipality of Alicante, is an inland town in the Costa Blanca region. It sits on a tributary of the Vinalopo River, situated between the towns of Elche and Novelda. It is approximately 17 kilometers away from the coastline beaches and less than one hour drive from the magnificent tourist city of Benidorm. If you are to visit the place, let it be known that you will not have enormous fun here – this place is devoid of the hustle and bustle of beach life. Aspe is for the visitors who want to spend quiet vacation.
What does Aspe have and what does it not have?

What Aspe does not have is the usual noisy and dazzling beach life. Although a visit to Aspe can make this experience possible via a few minutes travel to fun-filled Benidorm City. Aspe has hotels that are worthy of your stay, however – there are not much variety of selection, if compared to your array of choices had you stayed in Benidorm.

Choosing to stay in Aspe will give you the following gratification.

•    If you want a peaceful respite from your busy schedule, Aspe is the place for you. In this part of Spain, there is not much noise, no boisterous crowds gallivanting around.

•    Aspen has hotels and you will have no problem in securing accommodation. But then, would you not want a change of experience? Take a villa or a chalet where you have all the surrounding by yourself – where you can breathe fresh air as you open your windows.

•    A tour in the vineyards is something the other towns cannot offer your. You will have the chance to see and taste the Aledo bagged grapes which are found in most Spanish homes during the New Year. If you come during the months of October to December, you will find the grapes in full bloom.

•    Devoid of museums, the Town Center has much to offer a guest. The place was developed to have many pedestrian lanes to lure the people to walk and stroll around. Three buildings are prominent. The 18th century Plaza del Ayuntamiento is the center of the community.  On another side is the 17th century parish church. On the third side is a contrast to the Ayuntamiento and Church. This is the modern Casino.

•    Aspe has lots of shops and restaurants where you can have a taste of different Spanish and International cuisine.

•    Continuously exploring Aspe will give you a view of the different old style Spanish houses contrasting to modern architecture of the newly erected buildings.

•    Coming to Aspe on the last week of September will delight you with the traditional celebration of the Festival of Moors and Christians.
